Long overdue, I know, but good news to report: I am cancer free! The surgeries have gone really well and I’ve been resting a lot. The pain is gone, just sore and completely exhausted, but I can walk again!
I’m not allowed to sit up more than a few times a day, for short periods of time, so no painting yet. Recovery will be gradual over the next year and I’ll have to change my all night binges of bending over the tablet painting, but that’s alright, I’m just so happy to be out of that pain. There is a chance the tumor will grow back or the disc may need surgery again, but at least I will be checked up often and monitored for any changes like that.

E, I am so glad and relieved to hear this. I know I haven’t been around much due to my crazy schedule, but I always think of my fairy godfather. Rest well and feel better soon

Great news! Nice sketches/paintings too, but I must confess, I’m a Carthaginian sympathizer at heart. Nothing beats elephants in the Alps.
